“At the very beginning of the pandemic, I was passing by a Jui Tui Shrine in the evening. Our lives were changed dramatically then. The New Normal dictated its own rules, masks become an integral part of our image. I glanced at the beautifully carved gates at the back of the main square. There, in the moving shadows and smoke of the incense, there was a girl. She shook her head to the rhythm of the music from her headphones, she looked at the passers-by, chatting with someone on her phone. The girl was wearing the green mask of Tosacan, the demon of war.
